ANF Hiring Crews for Youth Conservation Corps Program

Allegheny National Forest Visitors BureauBRADFORD, PA – March 17, 2017 – The Allegheny National Forest is seeking applications from high school students who are interested in preserving natural resources to work on the forest this summer. Students will be part of the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Summer Program, which provides employment opportunities and environmental education to students aged 15-18. The ANF will hire a five-person crew to work on the Bradford Ranger District and another five-person crew to work on the Marienville Ranger District.

The YCC program runs eight weeks, beginning in mid-June and continuing through early August. Participants will work weekdays, for eight hours a day and earn $7.25 per hour. Students are responsible for their transportation to the districts.
