BRADFORD, PA – June 8, 2016 – The Inaugural Eldred WWII Museum Benefit Golf Tournament and Dinner will be held Saturday, July 9th at the Bolivar Country Club with a 10am shotgun start.
Cost per team is $220 and includes: 18 holes of golf, cart, hot dog lunch at the turn, and chicken BBQ dinner.
Golf format will be a 4-person handicapped scramble. Those not interested in golf can purchase Chicken BBQ dinners separately for $13/each.
This event is the museum’s primary fundraising event and is vital to maintaining operations. The Eldred World War II Museum is celebrating its 20th anniversary of serving as a tribute to the women who worked in Eldred’s munitions plant during World War II, as well as an educational resource for both students and adults.
Our 3-story museum of World War II memorabilia include: huge model displays that you can drive toy tanks over, replicas of life-size submarines, life-size bunkers you can walk inside, and thousands of artifacts from guns to patches to flags to uniforms.
