Forest Service Replacing Three Culverts

Allegheny National Forest Visitors BureauBRADFORD, PA – August 15, 2016 – The Allegheny National Forest will be replacing three culverts on the Bradford Ranger District in northern McKean County.

Two culverts will be replaced on Forest Road 173 behind the old Willows Restaurant and one culvert will be replaced in the Shingle Mill Hollow area north of where Forest Road 173 intersects with Forest Road 137.

Work is expected to begin on August 16 and will last about 10 days. There will be short-term road closures while the culverts are being removed and replaced.
