Hunting in the Allegheny National Forest
Why travel to Canada for hunting black bear? The Allegheny National Forest provides easy access to public lands. Some of our black bears weigh more than 500 pounds; four of the 15 Pennsylvania bucks ever to score over 170.0 B & C points were taken here.

Turkey hunting ranks with the best in the country with gobblers calling from nearly every ridge. There is also a mixed bag of small game, including outstanding squirrel and grouse.
