Pick Your Own Delicious Blueberries – Nutritious, Organically Grown
Between the first weekend after the July 4th holiday and September 15, you won’t want to miss picking your own organically grown blueberries from Red, White & Blueberries. From U.S. Route 219 North take the Foster Brook Exit and travel on Route 346 East until you reach Harrisburg Run on the left, 1.5 miles up the road the field for Red, White & Blueberries is on the right and clearly marked. This field and the delicious and nutritious treats it produces has been grown and tended too by Brian Pfister since 2013.
Red, White & Blueberries field contains approximately 2,600 blueberries plants that are a mix of 32 varieties grown organically with absolutely no pesticide use. Blueberries are often labeled as super food, because they are sweet, nutritious, low in calories and incredibly good for you. What’s more, blueberries are colorful and delicious and so much more enjoyable when picked by your own two hands from a beautiful field, full of rows of blueberry bushes bursting with fruits ready to be plucked and enjoyed.
