Borden Family and Holjencin Harvest Two Coyotes at Rolfe Beagle Club’s Statewide Coyote and Crow Hunt

Johnsonburg, Pa.:  Another family is doing their coyote hunting together.  Adam Borden and his two children, Chase and Madalyn, partnered up with Sean Holjencin, a well-known coyote hunter, to jointly harvest two coyotes over the weekend.  Little Madalyn exclaimed as we weighed the coyote, “I’m going to shoot a deer this fall!”

Sean Holjencin harvested an 18.2# male coyote on Friday at 4:30 a.m.  Sean was hunting public lands in Elk County.  He uses an electronic call and harvests with a .243 rifle.

Adam Borden and his family harvested a 39.0# male coyote at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.  Adam shoots a .224 Valkyrie and also uses an electronic call.  Adam was hunting on public lands in Elk County.

Weigh-in is at 6:00 p.m. every day over the ten days of the Rolfe Beagle Club hunt, thru 9/9.
