Exterior of church made into art studio
Cornelius Creative – Mt. Jewett, PA
Cornelius Creative, located at 13 Gallup Avenue in Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania, is a local artisan gallery which is open daily in the summer. This artisan studio is a wonderful example of adaptive reuse of a historic building – St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church.

This is the home of creative personality Angela Cornelius, a freelance artist and creative writer. She describes herself as a “muralist, space designer, community artist, sculptor, crafter of handmade creations, storyteller, and poet.”

Currently, she is teaching painting workshops and poetry, but she will be adding additional workshops in the

future, including one on graffiti. She is adding a mural on the fence and on one side of the artisan gallery/church building.

She recently completed the mural along the Knox & Kane Rail Trail – MJ2KB in the section between Mt. Jewett and the Kinzua Bridge State Park.

Angela wants to help everyone experience art in public spaces while fostering pride in the local heritage of Mt. Jewett and the surrounding area.

Give her a call to discuss commissioned artwork or stop at the gallery during the summer. Call ahead for hours.
