Located at the Kinzua Bridge State Park, 1721 Lindholm Drive, Mt. Jewett, Pennsylvania, the breathtaking Kinzua Sky Walk features a partial glass floor and an octagon shaped overlook.
The Kinzua Sky Walk towers high above Kinzua Creek which laces its way across the bottom of the Kinzua Gorge. Visitors can walk out onto the skywalk and enjoy stunning vistas from a height of over 300 feet.
Built on the historic towers of the Kinzua Viaduct, the Kinzua Sky Walk provides a historical link to the railroad, timber and industrial might of northern Pennsylvania during the 1800’s.
Kinzua Bridge State Park Amenities
The General Kane Trail, named after Thomas Leiper Kane, is a 1-mile loop hiking trail. It leads visitors through the forested areas that were ravished by the tornado of 2003. Expect to view a diverse sampling of tree species, including the American Chestnut along with the opportunity to catch a glimpse of a wide variety of bird species. This is a family friendly trail, suitable for all ages and is rated moderate in difficulty.
The Kinzua Bridge State Park offers lovely picnic areas, interpretive programs, and a park pavilion that can be rented out. Many weddings and special events have been held at the park; please speak with the park manager to schedule group events. Food and beverages are not available at the park, so please plan ahead by bringing a picnic lunch to enjoy dining in the great outdoors with the great Kinzua Sky Walk as your backdrop.
