RGS Graduates 16 Women in Wingshooting Program

Allegheny National Forest Visitors BureauBRADFORD, PA – September 4, 2020 – Sixteen women from two different states graduated in August from the Ruffed Grouse Society’s Women’s Introduction to Wingshooting program offered in Pennsylvania.  The Allegheny and Upland Bird Hunt Chapters of the Ruffed Grouse Society offered the program, and the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club in Mt. Jewett hosted the program.  Purina, Sportdog, and Federal support this program at the national level.

The RGS congratulates these sixteen women!  The women are invited to a hunt for quail, pheasants, and chukars at a Special Retrieve Training Area at the Rolfe Beagle Club on Sunday, 9/13, to use their newly acquired skills.
