If the sweet melodious trills of songbirds is music to your ear, you will not want to miss this bird walk through the wetland and scrub areas of Pfeiffer Nature Center’s Eshelman Preserve. Visitors may see and/or hear dozens of species that frequent the area as they walk along grassy, gentle trails.

The guided walk starts in the parking lot and will be led by Tim Baird, President of the Cattaraugus County Bird Study Club. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required.

Join Gary Kell, co-author of the new Keystone Fly Fishing Guide, for a three-day, two-night fly fishing course. Learn the secrets of fly fishing, from setting up your equipment, tying knots, identifying aquatic insects, determining where fish lay in a stream, and selecting a fly, casting and fishing it in a way that leads to success. Check-in is from 3 to 5 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30. Tuition & Room & Board (2 nights, 6 meals)=$261. Commuter price is $150 + cost of meals.
