Dance Theatre of Harlem
The Dance Theatre of Harlem is one of the leading dance institutions in American and also enjoys great global acclaim. Founded in 1969 by Arthur Mitchell and Karel Shook, the ensemble was meant to inspire children-especially those from Harlem- to discover dance and the allied arts. Now these dancers inspire us all.

The ensemble's repertoire is wide and deep-from the jaunty "Joplin Dances" through the more contemporary "New Bach" and even dances set to music by James Brown.

Doubt, a Parable
It’s the Bronx, 1964. A nun, Sister Aloysius, suspects the newly arrived priest, Father Flynn, of untoward behavior with a grammar school boy.

The nun and the priest inevitably clash in one of contemporary American drama’s most powerful classics. “Doubt, a Parable,” winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play in 2005, is riveting theater.

Part of the Bradford Creative & Performing Arts Center's 2011-2012 season.
