Thrush Thursdays Wildlife Walk at the Kinzua Bridge State Park
Come out for an educational walk around the General Kane Trail and learn about the plants and animals of the area. You never know what you might see; black bear, turkey, grouse, white-tailed deer, beautiful song birds and wildflowers, a variety of mushrooms, medicinal plants and much more! Valkyrie Presentation: A Failed Attempt to Assassinate Hitler
Steve Appleby will present Valkyrie; the July 20 Plot is carried out by Col. Claus von Stauffenberg in a failed attempt to assassinate Hitler. Hitler was visiting headquarters at Rastenburg, East Prussia. Reprisals follow against the plotters and their families and even include Field Marshall Rommel. Doors open at 6:30 pm, program starts at 7 pm. Free to the public, donations welcome.
