“Bye Bye Birdie” by Bradford Little Theater
The Elvis-inspired, 60’s throwback will be directed by Dani Newman and David Merwine with music direction by Shane Oschman. Featuring small town America and their reaction to rock’n roll, centers on heartthrob Birdie. He’s been drafted and chooses and All-American girl for a very public farewell kiss. The Operatic Voice by Meghan DeWald, Bradford


The Marilyn Horne Museum Chamber Concert Series will close it's 2017/2018 season with a solo recital by award-winning soprano Meghan DeWald. DeWald has performed extensively in operatic works from Mozart’s Requiem to Rossini’s Barber of Seville and is a champion of new music enjoying collaborations with several contemporary composers.

Free and open to the public. The doors to the chapel will open at 2 p.m. and the performance will begin promptly at 3 p.m. Reservations are suggested but not required for this event.

If the sweet melodious trills of songbirds is music to your ear, you will not want to miss this bird walk through the wetland and scrub areas of Pfeiffer Nature Center’s Eshelman Preserve. Visitors may see and/or hear dozens of species that frequent the area as they walk along grassy, gentle trails.

The guided walk starts in the parking lot and will be led by Tim Baird, President of the Cattaraugus County Bird Study Club. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Free and open to the public. Pre-registration is not required.
