Beginner Fly-Fishing School, Olmsted Manor Retreat Center
This retreat is designed for aspiring fly fishers, as well as veteran fly-fishers that have never taken a formal course. This three-day course reveals the all secrets of fly fishing, from setting up your equipment, tying knots, identifying aquatic insects, determining where fish lay in a stream, and selecting a fly, casting and fishing it in a way that leads to success. Beginning at 3:30pm on Friday and ending on Sunday at 5 pm.

Garden Workshop: Painting in the Greenhouse, Bradford, PA

Otto Fire Dept. Benefit Run, Majestic Trails

Join Majestic Trails for an all-day benefit run benefiting the Otto Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Registration will be at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Riders can ride until 9 p.m. The prize drawing will happen at 3 p.m. at the trailhead. Cost is $20/Driver, $10/passenger, $10/Children 14 & under.

Birding at Eshelman, Portville, NY
The guided walk starts in the parking lot and will be led by Tim Baird, President of the Cattaraugus County Bird Study Club. The group will slowly walk through the property noting what they see and or hear. Conversation is kept to a minimum as this is an observational activity. An effort is made not to disturb the wildlife in order to create optimal viewing conditions. Please bring binoculars if you have them. No pets, please. This activity is free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
