Beginner Fly-Fishing School, Olmsted Manor Retreat Center
This retreat is designed for aspiring fly fishers, as well as veteran fly-fishers that have never taken a formal course. This three-day course reveals the all secrets of fly fishing, from setting up your equipment, tying knots, identifying aquatic insects, determining where fish lay in a stream, and selecting a fly, casting and fishing it in a way that leads to success. Beginning at 3:30pm on Friday and ending on Sunday at 5 pm.

Scavenger Hunt in Bradford Area
Join RISE on Oct. 5 to have fun exploring, searching and hunting for items at event sponsor locations. Teams of up to four people are welcomed. Pfeiffer Fall Festival
Delight in an afternoon of nature with your children or grandchildren at the Lillibridge Preserve while engaging in many fun fall activities. Enjoy cider and doughnuts, "train" rides, pumpkin decorating, arts and crafts and trick or treating along the interpretive trail. Costumes are encouraged. This event is free and open to the public - minors must be accompanied by an adult.
