Mt. Jewett Sportsman’s Club Labor Day Picnic

Practice social distancing in the spacious front, back, and side yards at the Mt. Jewett Sportsman’s Club, but do come if you have a ticket to the 300 Club Picnic and enjoy the afternoon on Labor Day, Sunday, 9/6, at the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club on Division Street in Mt. Jewett, Pa.

The always-fun 300 Club Labor Day Picnic for the Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club will start at 1:00 p.m. This year’s event includes tournaments such as human foosball and cornhole. Horseshoes will be available for use. The 300 club will offer snacks, beverages, and a dinner at 5:00 p.m., raffle prizes, and a DJ for music. This event will be held rain or shine.

“This is our way of saying ‘thanks’ to the communities and people that support our conservation efforts throughout the year,” said President Jim Troutman, “so come on out and enjoy the afternoon”.

Participants in the human foosball tournament must have closed-toe shoes or boots; no sandals will be permitted in the foosball box.

The Mt. Jewett Sportsmen’s Club is a progressive sportsmen’s club that features clay target shooting, a rifle and pistol range, a Women’s Intro to Wingshooting Program, youth pheasant hunts, a Hunter/Trapper Education program, Boy Scout events, THE Big Buck content, and sharing of conservation knowledge. All proceeds from the 300 Club Labor Day Picnic support outdoor heritage events right here in NC PA.

Future programs will include an NRA Women on Target pistol training.
