🏠One of the oldest homes in McKean County. A 19th-century Victorian mansion built by Elisha Kent Kane for his wife, Zella, originally named Silverside. Still containing its original furnishings, century-old photographs, family letters, and a walk-in safe with every deed to the property since it was built.
In October 2024, Spirit Hunters investigated the house and called it “one of the most active places” they had ever encountered. Figures passing through doorways. Cabinets are opening on their own. Lights turning themselves on and off. Objects are moving between rooms overnight. Footsteps pacing the upper hallways when the house is empty.
