Fri 8th Jun to Sun 10th Jun | Allegheny 100 Challenge This ultimate hiking challenge tests individuals to hike 100 miles of the North Country National Scenic Trail. The challenge is to hike 100 miles in two days (or 50 hours). Those who cannot commit to the 100-mile challenge can participate in either the 25-mile or 50-mile portions. This is free for anyone, of any skill level, who wants to test themselves against the trail on their hiking ability and pace. Entrants must bring their own food, drinks and gear. The deadline to register is May 31. Registration will be online at NCTA website. Sign-in will be located at the Route 66 trailhead, six miles south of Marienville and 1.2 miles north of Vowinkle.
