Town Square Concert Series

The Town Square Concert Series is put on by the Port Allegany Women's Club. The concerts are held in June, July and August each year in the wooden gazebo in Town Square Park.

Concerts start at 6:00 each Thursday evening. Families can bring their blankets and chairs and enjoy a free evening of music.

Allegheny 100 Challenge,
The 2023 A-100 Challenge will run from north to south. The cost for participants will be $80 and there is a lottery for registration. The event challenges hikers to traverse 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles along the North Country Trail through the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) in 50 hours, always beginning at 6:00 p.m. on a Friday and ending at 8:00 p.m.

Femmes de la Musique
Join us for an intimate recital in the museum's Fenice Theater. Violinist Kiyoe Matsuura and pianist Sun Chang will perform works by French women composers. The performance will last approximately one hour with a brief intermission before the last sonata. 

Music includes works by Pauline Viradot-Garcia,  Elisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre, Germaine Tailleferre, Lili Boulanger, and Louise Farrenc.

Hike 100 Miles to Commemorate 100 Years

Come join us in celebrating 100 years of growth and adventure on the Allegheny National Forest by hiking 100 miles. The Centennial Hiking Challenge will take you to over 100 miles of the best and most beautiful trails we offer. Whether you want to take a peaceful nature walk on a flat, established trail, or trek through a virtually untouched wilderness area far from the noise and congestion of town, these trails all have something unique to offer.

Log the date, trail name and miles hiked. When you complete 100 miles bring your hiking log to the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau or any of the ANF Ranger offices to receive commemorative items, while supplies last. The hiking challenge ends on September 24, 2024.

Escape Room: Don't Go Extinct
Escape the dangers of extinction by solving puzzles while learning about Pennsylvania animals and understanding the importance of endangered species.
