Pfeiffer Nature Center is pleased to host nature enthusiast, Tim Baird as he shares his knowledge of the “new” 8th wonder of the world.  This program looks into the geology of the Niagara River region and the formation of the Niagara Gorge and Niagara Falls. Winter in the Lumber Camp, Galeton, PA

Slide down the hills, make a snowman, and then warm-up with some hot drinks in the program room at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. Cross-country skis, snowshoes, and ice skates will be provided. Hit the trail at 1 p.m. for a short guided (snowshoe) hike on the museum’s Sustainable Forestry Trail. Equipment and instruction are free.
