Jazz, country, folk, golden oldies, acoustic and big band swing are some of the performers on the calendar schedule. Bring your favorite lawn chairs or a big blanket to spread out on the grass. Compendium of Poems, Collection of Leaves, Pfeiffer Nature Center, Portville, NY
Collecting and pressing tree leaves is an age-old tradition among nature enthusiasts. Come walk with us and learn to identify the trees of the northern hardwood forest using a dichotomous guide; collect samples and press them in the handy pocket collector we provide; and enjoy some forest poetry as we wander the old-growth forest.
