Tue 13th Jun to Mon 23rd Sep | Hike 100 Miles to Commemorate 100 Years Come join us in celebrating 100 years of growth and adventure on the Allegheny National Forest by hiking 100 miles. The Centennial Hiking Challenge will take you to over 100 miles of the best and most beautiful trails we offer. Whether you want to take a peaceful nature walk on a flat, established trail, or trek through a virtually untouched wilderness area far from the noise and congestion of town, these trails all have something unique to offer. Log the date, trail name and miles hiked. When you complete 100 miles bring your hiking log to the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau or any of the ANF Ranger offices to receive commemorative items, while supplies last. Prizes for the first, second & third place for the best decorated and a prize for those who came the longest distance. Meet at the Willow Street side of the park by the pool (601 W. Water Street, Smethport, PA), or unload your trailer at the firehall parking lot. You will ride to Sena Kean and then down Willow Street past Lakeview. Ride will end at the firehall with cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. If you would like to make a food donation, donations will go to the food bank and the Child Advocate Center.
