Presidential Tea at the Depot, Kane
The Kane Historic Preservation Society invites the public to attend a “Presidential Tea” on Wednesday at the Thomas L. Kane Memorial Chapel on Chestnut Street. This tea set, passed down through generations of the Kane family, was used to serve eight men who would serve as U.S Presidents-- Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Martin Van Buren, John Tyler, James Polk, James Buchanan and Ulysses S.
