The Tornado of 2003, Kinzua Bridge State Park

2018 marks the 15th Anniversary of the tornado that knocked down the Kinzua Bridge. Walk out onto the skywalk and look at the fallen towers. View the area from above and see how the Forest has regrown in the last 15 years.

Milky Way Photoshoot, Kinzua Bridge State Park

Join the Twin Tiers Camera Club for a Milkyway Photoshoot at the Kinzua Bridge State Park. Bring your camera as the club will provide expert advice on the use of your camera from the bottom of the valley. Report at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Visitor Center Classroom for a brief intro before your journey to the bottom of the gorge. The club is asking for a $35 donation.

Nature Journaling Class, Pfeiffer Nature Center
Nature Journaling is the act of going outdoors and recording one’s personal observations about nature through the use of drawings and notes. Local wildlife artist, Jennifer Miller, will speak about the ideas of nature journaling, demonstrate how to observe natural objects, and encourage the group to do some journaling on the spot! Bring a sketchbook, journal, or notepad, and a pencil or pen. $10 for non-members, $5 for members. Children under 14 are free.
