The Cultural and Artistic Hub of the Forest Region
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is the cultural and artistic hub of the region, offering plays, concerts, dance recitals and art exhibitions. Most of the performances are staged in Bromeley Family Theater located in Blaisdell Hall. Additionally, most of the events are either free or have only a small ticket price.
Pitt-Bradford offers three public performance arts series: Prism, Spectrum and Kaleidoscope.
Prism provides diverse cultural experiences in all performing disciplines. Past performances have included “To Kill a Mockingbird,” “Cabaret,” the Russian National Ballet and the Chicago Brass.
Spectrum events emphasize academic activities and include art exhibitions, student theater productions, artist readings and musical performances.
Kaleidoscope is Pitt-Bradford’s school-time matinee series for K-12 students.
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, located near the Allegheny National Forest in northwestern Pennsylvania, is a regional campus of the University of Pittsburgh.
