Geocaching – A Great Way to Explore the Region!
Outdoor Fun for the Whole Family
Learn to Geo-Cache. The Kinzua Bridge State Park offers a “Learn to Geo-Cache” program for groups and motorcoach tours.
Participants learn how to operate a hand-held GPS device and use it to find geocaches hidden along a 1.5-mile long trail. The state park does have geo-cache devices to loan out, or participants can learn how to use their smartphones for this fun, family-friendly activity.
For more information, please contact the Kinzua Bridge State Park at 814-778-5467, or click here to fill out and submit the program request online.
The Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau offers a fun Finding Bigfoot Geo Trail with a numbered, collectible wooden geo-coin as the prize for completing the trail. The form with the GPS coordinates can be downloaded here.
